How to Qualify for the
National JBQ Festival 2025
1.) Each District Champion is automatically qualified BUT MUST declare intent to attend the Festival at their District competition. If the District Champion chooses not to attend the National Festival, the District Coordinator should select the next qualified team from that District. District Champions must register by April 24, 2025.
2.) Each Regional competition will qualify 5 teams not previously qualified at the District competition. Only 3 of these Regional qualifiers may come from any one District. Regional qualifiers MUST declare intent to attend the Festival at their Regional competition. Regional qualifiers must register by May 7, 2025
3.) “At large” invitations from the Festival committee will be issued so that there are 80 teams at the National JBQ Festival. These invitations will be issued to teams who participated in their Regional competition based on order of finish with the following restrictions.

a.) Primary invitations will be issued to the next highest finishing team(s) from any District which has not already qualified 4 teams for the National Festival
b.) Secondary invitations (if necessary) will be extended to the next highest finishing team(s) from Districts which have already qualified 4 teams.
All teams must provide 2 officials and a functional buzzer set.
